Jim Pitts, candidate for re-election to Texas House District 10, recently received the endorsement of the Texas Hospital Association. “It is very meaningful to me to receive the support and endorsement of the Texas Hospital Association,” Pitts said. “This organization represents more than 340,000 health care professionals in our state, and I appreciate their confidence in me.” The association, in its decision to endorse Pitts, recognizes his previous support of health care issues in Texas and based its decision on his position on the importance of health care issues.Dan Stultz, president of the THA, stated in his endorsement that, “We appreciate your interest in working with hospitals to reduce the state’s uninsured population by making health insurance more accessible and affordable.”
